When I think of timeless and chic luxury, the first brand that comes to mind is Ralph Lauren. From their meticulously crafted clothing lines made with the finest materials to their lifestyle furnishings curated through exceptional craftsmanship and designed with the utmost timeless elegance, they truly represent a lifestyle and home charm that keeps clients coming back for more!
I am enamored with the entrance to Ralph Lauren shops; something about their outdoor lighting instantly mesmerizes me and makes me feel at home. Entering their shops feels so airy, and there is a soft scent of their perfumes lingering in the air. I love how neatly laid out the clothing is, how shoes and boots are displayed, and how their home display sections are always everything and more.
Since I can remember, I have always wanted my bedspread to look like a Ralph Lauren display, perfectly curated with colors that complement the room while giving a lush home vibe. A few years ago, I visited my local Ralph Lauren shop and started to create my dream display at home. With the help of a great representative, I began with my king bed sheets. I opted for the classic Polo Navy duvet cover with matching sheets and pillowcases. For my smaller pillows, I went with an all-Polo Navy case. I use the duvet covers during the fall and winter months.
What I enjoy about this duvet cover is that it’s easy to wash. I remove the down comforter and put the duvet to wash. I use my Conair steamer to get the wrinkles off the cover, so it has a fresh look once it's back on the bed. For those of you who want the plushy experience, be sure to use two down comforters inside the duvet cover; it is a game-changer! I’ve had this setup for 3 years now, and it is worth the investment!
As for the Spring and Summer months, I enjoy the Polo Navy sateen quilt from their home collection. This lightweight quilt is soft, has a lighter plush, and looks great with all navy blue or simple white sheets. The quilt is such a showstopper, even if you pair it with a cozy blanket on the edge of the bed. Cleaning the quilt is simple and doesn’t require you to spend a lot at a dry cleaner. I wash it under handwash in the washer and dry it under delicate. My next buy for this collection is the blue hyacinth quilt. The quilt covers are fun and can be paired with anything; its classic look makes it the best aesthetic for any home.
The one part of my home that I am always adding to is my coffee and teacup collection. I love Ralphs Café, and their cups are such a charming addition to my day-to-day or get-togethers at home. The classic Ralph’s Coffee cup and Saucer from their collection is a great two-piece stoneware set that can complement any part of your day. As for their teacups, I am obsessed with their Faded Peony Teacup collection. As a huge Peony fan, this makes my day! Whether you are home enjoying a coffee/tea and tasty treat or have family or friends over, these must-have pieces make any solo or group gathering a showstopper. They are easy to wash and dishwasher friendly, too!
